We are getting a massive FC Barcelona reunion that will happen in Miami as Sergio Busquets joins Lionel Messi as both of them join Inter Miami.

Sergio Busquets was a free agent before agreeing to join his former Barcelona teammate to play with Inter Miami. The deal was revealed on Twitter by soccer insider Fabrizio Romano who said the agreement has already been signed and completed. Like Messi, Busquets also rejected offers from Saudi clubs as he wanted to experience MLS.

For its part, Inter Miami had been teasing the signing for about a week before the club publicly revealed its latest high-profile signing with a graffiti-style image with the word "Busi" in the club's familiar pink color. Busi is of course the Spaniard's nickname.

Sergio Busquets Has Long History With Lionel Messi

Right now, the Spanish midfielder is still signed with FC Barcelona. However, that contract is set to expire next week, according to the Daily Mail.

As for his relationship with Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets first met the Argentinian at the Nou Camp from his Blaugrana first team emergence in 2008. They played together at FC Barcelona and won several La Liga and UEFA championships together.
