"House of Cards" actor Kevin Spacey is on trial for sexual abuse, and his attorneys have brought in Sir Elton John and his husband, David Furnish, as witnesses for the defense.

The "Rocket Man" singer and his husband testified before a London court via a video call to cast doubt on the case filed by the Oscar winner's accusers. They corroborated Spacey's alibi and stated that the actor did not attend their annual party in Windsor, where the accuser said Spacey attacked him inside a car.

Kevin Spacey was accused of attacking one of the alleged victims while driving with him to Elton John's annual party at his Windsor home. The accuser alleges that Spacey attacked him inside a car while driving the actor to the White Tie & Tiara Ball in 2004 or 2005. Spacey allegedly "grabbed his crotch so forcefully that he almost ran off the road," per CBS News.

As for David Furnish's testimony, he stated that the only time Spacey attended the couple's event was in 2001 and admitted he reviewed photographs taken at the party from 2001 to 2005, finding the actor only appeared that one year.

"He was an Oscar-winning actor and there was a lot of buzz and excitement that he was at the ball," testified Furnish, who was also speaking via video call from Monaco.

His husband, Grammy winner Elton John, testified that Spacey bought a Mini Cooper at the event's auction, which was held for the Elton John AIDS Foundation. He also testified that the Oscar winner also stayed at their home that night and left the Mini Cooper there until he was able to pick it up.

The names of some of the accusers were not revealed to the public, as it is mandated by British law regarding victims of sexual abuse.
