Rap legend Sean "Diddy" Combs, formerly known as Puff Daddy and P. Diddy, has been accused by ex-girlfriend and musician Cassie of rape and other crimes in a bombshell lawsuit against the music mogul behind Bad Boy Records.

Cassie filed the federal lawsuit in New York on Thursday, making a number of shocking allegations about her ex. This includes human trafficking and claims that in 2018, Diddy broke into her home and raped her. The 2018 rape incident allegedly happened after the two broke up, according to TMZ.

The singer detailed in her lawsuit that the incident of rape happened on the night she decided to break up with him. After dinner, she thought it would just be a discussion on how they could each move on from the relationship. However, when they arrived at her apartment, Diddy forced himself upon her and kissed her before ripping her clothes off. She said she was then raped while she was repeatedly telling him "no."

"After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships," she said in a statement. "With the expiration of New York's Adult Survivors Act fast approaching, it became clear that this was an opportunity to speak up about the trauma I have experienced and that I will be recovering from for the rest of my life."

The singer added in her filing that she tried separating herself completely from the rap legend, even moving away and cutting all ties with Sean "Diddy" Combs and Bad Boy. She also stated that she was under a lot of stress after he raped her. However, this incident of rape was only the tip of the iceberg, according to Cassie.

Cassie's Other Accusations Vs. Sean 'Diddy' Combs

In her lawsuit, Cassie claims that Sean "Diddy" Combs introduced her "to a lifestyle of excessive alcohol and substance abuse and required her to procure illicit prescriptions to satisfy his own addictions." Among the shocking claims she stated in the lawsuit was that the rapper "forced Ms. Ventura to engage in sex acts with male sex workers while masturbating and filming the encounters."

She also alleged domestic abuse while she was still in a relationship with him, stating that Diddy was prone to uncontrollable rage and frequently beat up Cassie, whose full name is Cassie Ventura. However, she added, "These beatings were witnessed by Mr. Combs' staff and employees of Bad Boy Entertainment and Mr. Combs's related businesses, but no one dared to speak up against their frightening and ferocious boss."

Sean 'Diddy' Combs Denies Allegations of Rape by Ex-Girlfriend, Cassie

Attorney Ben Brafman, who represents Diddy, says that his client "vehemently denies" the allegations. He also called the claims done by Cassie as "lies," per the Associated Press.

"For the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura's persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail," Diddy's lawyer said in a statement. "Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs's reputation and seeking a payday."
