The Texas Expressway crash resulted in two people being hospitalized, while two others were treated at the scene for minor injuries. The incident occurred on the North Central Expressway, involving a Corvette and a Lamborghini.

Investigation and Statements

State Attorney Sen. Royce West, representing Chiefs wide receiver Rice, mentioned that the circumstances surrounding Rashee Rice leaving the scene are under investigation.

Charges against Rice are expected, West noted, emphasizing Rice's regret for the injuries caused, WFFA noted.

"He's a young man that made a mistake," West stated Thursday. "But for the grace of God, someone could have been injured - seriously injured," says West. "He understands that he appreciates that; that's why he wanted to come out and say he's going to be responsible for making certain that the victims are made whole as best as possible."

Rice, 23, leased the Lamborghini SUV from The Classic Lifestyle, an exotic car rental company based in Dallas.

The Corvette involved in the crash also belongs to Rice, although the driver's identity remains undisclosed.

In a statement posted on Instagram, Rice accepted full responsibility for his involvement in the crash.

"I take full responsibility for my part in this matter and will continue to cooperate with the necessary authorities. I sincerely apologize to everyone impacted in Saturday's accident," Rashee Rice posted.

He expressed his cooperation with the authorities and apologized to those affected.

Attorney Kyle Coker confirmed that Rice's legal team is compiling medical documents for the police.

While acknowledging lingering uncertainties, they view Rice's statements as a positive step toward resolution.

Continuing Investigation

The police report obtained by WFAA indicated six individuals were split between the Lamborghini and the Corvette during the Texas Expressway crash. All occupants fled the scene without exchanging information or insurance details, according to ESPN.

An ongoing investigation aims to ascertain further details surrounding the crash.

Rice's involvement, along with the role of the unidentified driver of the Corvette, remains under scrutiny.

Despite uncertainties, Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice's legal representatives aim for a fair resolution, considering the injuries sustained by the victims. They anticipate a thorough investigation to provide clarity on the events leading to the crash.

As the investigation progresses, authorities seek to piece together the circumstances of the crash, ensuring accountability and justice for all parties involved.
