The model and partner of soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo had a hard time before she was able to achieve her dreams. Learn the details of her process!

The hard life of Georgina Rodriguez

Born on January 27, 1994 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Georgina had to face a path full of challenges and sacrifices. Since her childhood in a humble neighborhood of Buenos Aires, the influencer dreamed of a better future. When she turned 18, she decided to emigrate to Spain in search of opportunities, landing one of her first jobs as an employee in a Gucci store, where her life would take an unexpected turn.

"My arrival in Madrid was tremendous. I was looking for a lot of cheap apartments, which cost about $300 euros a month. In the end, I ended up in a place that had been a storage room. During the winter, it was very cold; and it was scorching hot in the summer," she revealed in the trailer for the first season of his docuseries. According to a report by newspaper La Otra Crónica, in 2017, Georgina comes from an unstructured family.

Her father, Jorge Eduardo Rodríguez Gorjón, emigrated from Spain to the municipality of Jaca, where he worked for a season as coach of the Jacetano, a First Regional Division team and then set up a hamburger business that failed.

After marrying Ana Maria Hernandez, Georgina's mother, Jorge Eduardo was reportedly "missing for a while", which generated all kinds of gossip in the village, and said that the marriage ended up failing, a situation that dealt a severe blow to Georgina, who loved her father dearly.

Fate introduced her to Cristiano Ronaldo. Despite the difficulties, Georgina proved to be a resilient woman. According to another episode of her series, the dancer tells that it was precisely when she was working as an employee in a Gucci store, in 2016, when the relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo began.

"That day it was my turn to leave at five in the afternoon and a colleague called me to stay for another half an hour to attend to a customer. As I was leaving the store, a handsome man, almost two meters tall, appeared, accompanied by a boy and a group of friends". However, life had another surprise in store for her, as they met again at a brand event, where they were able to talk and exchanged phone numbers. The Portuguese then decided to win her over, asked her out and then picked her up at work.
