It's no secret that Gisele Bundchen is the highest paid supermodel, but according to Forbes, she has just had her best year in 20 years.

Gisele Bundchen has been the top earning supermodel for the past seven years. Working with H&M, Carolina Herrera, Louis Vuitton and Chanel is part of how she made $47 million in the last year, but it's also backing brands, such as Farabella.

She also teamed up with Grendene, a footwear brand, that is now competing with Havaianas. Hope is banking on the Gisele Bundchen touch to become the top lingerie brand in Brazil.

"Gisele is our best brand today," Fabio Figueiredo, Hope's director of expansion, said. "We still have lots of room for growth in Brazil, but we have to think strategically where we want to grow and we want to be a global brand."

Since being featured on Forbes highest earners list, the Brazilian beauty has also added two new contracts with Emilio Pucci and Balenciaga.

Gisele has been featured on Forbes' Celebrity 100 list 14 times in a row. In 2004, when she took a break from modeling, she still made $10.5 million.

The supermodel has come out and spoken against Forbes in the past, saying that it estimates she makes more money than she actually does because the figures are just guesses.

Forbes has said that since tracking Bundchen in 2001, she has made $427 million.

"It's sad, because the people who write these things don't have my bank account details," she said, according to British Vogue. "I do OK, I earn plenty, but not as much as they say. I've already been audited by the IRS because of this list and, truthfully, whether I'm on this list or not doesn't interest me."
