"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" movie is going to get the Lorde touch.

On top of releasing a song for the movie's soundtrack, Lorde will also decide what the rest of the soundtrack sounds like. The album will be released in the fall, and the movie will be in theaters on Nov. 21, noted Billboard.

Director Francis Lawrence explained that he chose Lorde because of how in tune she seemed with the material, which takes place in a post-apocalyptic world.

"I sat down with Lorde on the set of 'Mockingjay' this spring and I was immediately struck by how she so innately understood what we, as both fans and filmmakers, were trying to accomplish with the film," Lawrence said.

"Her immense talent and keen understanding of Mockingjay's characters and themes not only have enabled her to create a song of her own that completely captures the film's essence, but her insight and passion for our project make her the perfect creative force to assemble the other songs on our soundtrack. I can't wait to share what she's done with the fans -- it is truly remarkable."

Lorde added that curating the soundtrack was challenging but that she easily welcomed the task.

"The cast and story are an inspiration for all musicians participating and, as someone with cinematic leanings, being privy to a different creative process has been a unique experience," the "Royals" singer said. "I think the soundtrack is definitely going to surprise people."

Lorde was previously featured on "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" soundtrack with her song "Everybody Wants To Rule The World."

The first "Hunger Games" movie saw Taylor Swift providing the lead single, "Safe and Sound."
