Lindsay Lohan claims that she handled Whitney Houston's body while completing her community service at the LA County Morgue.

During an interview with Telegraph to promote her upcoming London play, she said, "It's different for me than it would be for other people. Like, no one would really have to work at the morgue in LA and roll a body bag for Whitney Houston."

Lindsay was ordered by a judged to spend time at the morgue to teach her a lesson about drinking and driving back in April of 2012. An official from the Coroner's Office tells TMZ that Lindsay is in fact lying and that Whitney was never in a body bag and no one in the probation program came in contact with her body.

Whitney Houston died on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012. According to the Coroner's office, the autopsy was performed the next day and her body was gone by the morning. The official also adds that Whitney's body was wrapped in plastic with a sheet cover over her, and that's how she remained at the morgue. Lohan didn't even arrive at the morgue to do her community service until April of that year.

Lohan has fabricated stories for the media before. This time, it didn't take long for the truth to be revealed after her original story broke. Lohan has recently been accused of stealing the idea of her invention with brother Michael Jr. for the "Virtual Closet" app. The app consists of users viewing what clothes celebrities have in their closet and being able to then purchase the threads. The group who came up with the idea along with Lohan are suing her for carrying on with a similar project after they parted ways.

Do you think Lindsay does and says anything for the publicity? Will Whitney Huston's family react to Lindsay's story?
