It seems that all rumor surrounding Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth's relationship are true - the two have officially broken up on Twitter.

Well, it isn't what you think it is. The two didn't fight online, nor did any of them confirm the reports. However, Miley's recent Twitter behavior seems to confirm that the couple has indeed broken up.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer has unfollowed fiancé Liam on Twitter last Saturday, People.com reports. A quick look at the singer's "following" list on the social media site and Liam isn't one of her 281 followed tweet peeps. This could mean that isn't even interested with her (former?) boo's goings on.

Miley and Liam's relationship has been on the rocks for several months now, with rumors popping up every now and then they're really over. However, reports of a breakup escalated further after Miley's infamous MTV VMAs performance. According to reports, the singer's raunchy performance has pushed the Hunger Games star to end their two-year engagement and consider a "clean break" from the singer.

"They're just weeks away from calling it off. He is over her and wants to make a clean break," a source said.

Moreover, recent reports also say that Liam has moved on from Miley to January Jones, with reports even claiming that the actor has been sending flirty texts to the actress. While sources close to Liam have trashed rumors, the talks could have added to reasons why Cyrus decided to unfollow Hemsworth on the site.

The Paranoia actor, however, is still following Miley on Twitter. It's worth noting though that the actor doesn't seem to be into the site that much, with only 48 tweets since he joined the site last June 6.

While the breakup hasn't been confirmed by either camp, it seems that fans could just be waiting for the other shoe to drop.
