While she is currently busy working on her upcoming ninth studio album, Britney Spears is reportedly eager to collaborate with Iggy Azalea.

Just a month ago, Azalea took to her Instagram account to thank her fans in London, as well as to hint her next team-up with "another blondie":

"Hey London. I had so much fun with you guys... I think today has been one of the longest days of my life but It felt good seeing all your faces in the crowd. Thankyou for the support. Also I recorded a duo after the show for another blondie and I can't wait till you hear it, now time for bed."

Around the same time, Spears also shared a photo of herself she took during her recording session via Instagram. "Studio today! Yay!" she wrote the following caption.

While fans are trying to figure out whom the "blondie" the Australian emcee was previously referring to, Hollywood Life recently reported that Britney Spears is determined to record with the "Fancy" hitmaker.

"Britney is working on new music and wants to work on a song with Iggy Azalea," a source told revealed. "Britney wants to do stuff with many current artists and make her next album a huge event."

"She plans on making it star-studded, but Iggy is on top of the list," the source added.

Spears seems to be focused on her music career, following her breakup last month from boyfriend David Lucado, who reportedly cheated on her with a "hardcore porn star."

According to TMZ, Lucado cheated with Cali Lee, who is a well-known porn star that has worked with Ron Jeremy. The pair reportedly met at a bar near Britney Spears' home, and a video footage of them kissing and cuddling surfaced.

As a result, Britney's father Jamie Spears secretly spent "a substantial amount of money" to prevent it from being leaked publicly.
