As you level up in Destiny, you'll be unlocking lots of new content -- more (exotic) weapons and armor for every class -- that you've never seen before.

That's partially because you haven't played at that level yet (it's new to you), but more because Destiny is a game in flux, meant to be played over the course of years, and meant to be updated with lots of new content. That fact can't be truer with The Dark Below DLC, as well, coming this December.

Bungie recently spilled the beans on some details of the new DLC, and talked about how they've been listening to feedback to tailor The Dark Below to fans' tastes.

The Dark Below: Making it for Fans

"We are putting the finishing touches on DLC, we've been working on DLC for weeks," said Bungie community manager David Dague in a recent Guardian Radio podcast. ""DLC is a work-in-progress at Bungie, it is something we are pouring are hearts and minds into right now."

Not only is Bungie pouring themselves into the DLC -- which is expected to come with lots more new weapons, armor and items for each character -- they've been listening to players pouring in their input, as well.

"If you look at how many times we have updated this game, you can see how many things we have learned from our game and how many thing we have been willing to change about our game," he said, according to Express. "We're very deliberately taking action on how the game can be stronger, or more stable, or more diverse in the way you are all powerful."

Dague also hinted at changes to the story coming up in future episodes and updates.

DLC Exotic Weapons, Armor, Items

Some players have seen some of the still in-progress DLC by way of a glitch that allowed them to get into unfinished sections of the universe. Now GameChup has listed a leak that includes some of the new content in the first upcoming Destiny DLC. Among many exotic weapons and armor ostensibly coming to Destiny are:

  • No Land Beyond, and Exotic Sniper Rifle -- Kinetic Damage: "Every hit blazes the path to our reclamation"
  • Word of Crota -- Legendary Hand Cannon, Arc Damage: "There was life, and He spoke unto it; and it was silent, and lived no more."
  • Light of the Abyss - Legendary Fusion Rifle, Solar Damage: "In the dark beyond the Hellmouth there is a terrible need for light."

Make sure to check out GameChup for the extensive leaked list. The Dark Below DLC is coming in December and will be followed by the House of Wolves expansion pack soon after in 2015.
