According to reports, marriage is not easy for anyone, including Kate Middleton and Prince William, who are expecting their second child.

International Business Times reports that the Duchess of Cambridge, who has undergone bouts of "severe morning sickness," is currently living at her parents home in Buckleberry, under the watchful eye of her mother. However, with stories circulating that Middleton is recovering, she might return to her husband in Kensington Palace.

Gossip has run amok nonetheless, with reports of the royal couple fighting.

"Numerous tabloids are claiming that despite the smiles for the cameras in public, all is not well 'back at the ranch' as the royal couple deal with some 'marital issues,'" according to Inquisitr.

Inquisitr also reports that Queen Elizabeth II wants Middleton to get back to "work" and carry out her royal duties.

However, the rumors have neither been confirmed nor disputed by the pair.

The couple and Prince George, their one-year-old son and third in the line of succession to the British throne, recently went for a "babymoon" excursion to Balmoral Castle in the Royal Deeside area of Aberdeenshire, Scotland, where Prince William took it upon himself to whisk away his wife for a brief holiday after her "rough past couple of months," according to Us Weekly.

According to reports, Prince William's idea of taking their leave and heading to Scotland was novel because they both "love the outdoors" and the weather is not that cold yet.

There doesn't appear to be any bad blood between Middleton or the Head of the Commonwealth, Queen Elizabeth II. The queen regnant and her husband, Prince Phillip, visited them on their getaway.

Middleton has announced that she will be spending Christmas at her countryside home in Anmer Hall during the holiday to clear her head and get away from the turbulence of London. In the Spring, she is expected to give birth to her second child and intends to raise both of their children in Norfolk, according to Parade.
