Kylie Jenner's rumored boyfriend Tyga was handcuffed by the LAPD on Monday while shooting a music video scene in a Rolls Royce for his new song "Make It Work."

The 24-year-old rapper was cited for a traffic violation when the Los Angeles School Police stopped him for driving recklessly with his body guard. Police confirmed Tyga was the driver. After his release, his bodyguard was detained for further investigation for an unknown charge.

"I was told he was cited and released at the scene. I don't know if he was detained, he may have been. Officers have the discretion to detain any occupants in a traffic stop," Officer Kim said.

The "Rack City" rapper was on the way to an event at the House of Blues in L.A. featuring Chris Brown and Trey Songz to announce their collaborative tour "Between the Sheets."

Because he was pulled over, Tyga arrived too late for the performance. Instead he chatted with the press afterwards and said, "That's why you have to come out to the tour, to see the real thing."

The rapper, real name Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson, spent the weekend with the Kardashian family as they celebrated Khloé Kardashian's rumored boyfriend French Montana's 30th birthday in L.A. Tyga is rumored to be dating the "Keeping up with the Kardashians" reality star and Khloé's half-sister Kylie Jenner. He has been spotted with the 17-year-old several times.

As for Kylie's alleged relationship with the rapper, her family reportedly does not like the idea and wants her to be with someone who will treat her right and does not have baby momma drama.
