Hulu has taken in another network castoff television series in ABC's canceled comedy, "Manhattan Love Story." The streaming service has picked up the remaining unaired episodes of the quickly-axed fall sitcom.

The seven remaining episodes of the romantic comedy by Jeff Lowell in partnership with ABC Studios will be available beginning Thursday via Hulu, only to members with a subscription to its premium Plus service.

ABC cancelled "Manhattan Love Story," which stars Analeigh Tipton and Jake McDorman, after just four episode. The freshman series began with a subpar 4.3 million total viewers and a 1.3 million in the critical demographic of adults ages 18 to 49. Even with the lead-in help of fellow freshman comedy "Selfie," ratings continued to fall. By episode four, the 18 to 49 demographic following had plummeted to 700,000 viewers, which served as the final nail in the coffin.

In fact, this poor viewership had carved out a new low for the network, breaking the record for a series low from its former holder, Marvel's "Agents of SHIELD," which was now being dragged down as it was immediately after the New York-based series.

"Manhattan Love Story" showed Tipson and McDorman, as the name suggests, as a new couple falling in love in New York City. The couple's inner-dailogue was voiced-over to allow audiences to understand what each person was thinking while on their dates in the Big Apple.

"Selfie" was also picked up by Hulu one week ago, in a similar arrangement to offer the six unaired episodes of the Emily Kapnek comedy from Warner Bros. Television each Tuesday.

Hulu has recently announced a major push to add more original scripted fare to its site. It also picked up another ABC castoff episodes of "Don't Trust the B**** in Apartment 23" in April of last year.
