The 2015 Grammy nominations for several major categories were announced on "CBS This Morning" early Friday, and reactions from fans and musicians alike are pouring in already. The news program was joined by performers Pharrell Williams and Ed Sheeran to reveal the nominees for Best Country Album, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Urban Contemporary Album and Record of the Year.

Artists like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Sam Smith and Miley Cyrus have all been recognized with top nods for the upcoming award show.

The list of nominations rolled out after CBS' morning show on Twitter as they were announced from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Then during Friday evening's "A Very Grammy Christmas," the nominees for the coveted "Album of the Year" will be announced at some point.

Twitter was also the place for instant reactions from fans who were elated and upset over which artists were recognized or overlooked.

"Two @TheGRAMMYs nominations, and 1989 wasn't even eligible next year," @TaySwiftAus tweeted, referring to Swift's platinum-selling album being released after the deadline for consideration. "Just wait until next year. Just. Wait."

"No type of diversity in the nominees for Record Of The Year," @callmeonline remarked online.

@krisjess seemed disappointed in some of the nominee choices, saying "Meghan Trainor All about that [Bass] as record of the year nomination at the #Grammys is insulting to music as a whole."

Rock band Weezer tweeted congratulations to the nominees of the Best Music Video category. Lead singer Rivers Cuomo listed the nominations, which ranged from artists Lil Jon and DJ Snake to Arcade Fire, in a short video attached to the message as well.

The full list of nominees announced so far can be found here. "A Very Grammy Christmas" is scheduled for 9 p.m. EST Friday on CBS. The 57th Grammy Awards will air Sunday, Feb. 8.
