The NFL postseason is set and almost ready to go. But first, we're going to look back at what an amazing Week 17 it was in the NFL. A total of 10 records were broken in the final week of the season.

Here are the 10 records that were broken in Week 17:

1. Matt Forte

Matt Forte might be a running back, but he catches the ball more than any other running back in the league. This season, Forte caught the football 102 times, breaking Larry Centers record of 101 catches in 1995 with the Arizona Cardinals. The Bears may have gone 5-11, but Forte had a tremendous season.

2. Dez Bryant

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant had 16 receiving touchdowns this season. That broke the franchise record previously held by Terrell Owens, who caught 15 touchdowns in 2007. In case you were wondering, Cowboys great and Hall of Famer Michael Irvin's career high was 10 touchdowns in 1995.

3. Justin Houston

The Kansas City Chiefs missed the playoffs, but Justin Houston led the NFL with 22 sacks. With those 22 sacks, Houston passed Derrick Thomas's franchise record set back in 1990, 20. Houston is a free agent this offseason.

4. DeMarco Murray

What a season it was for DeMarco Murray.

On the final week of the regular season, Murray ran for 100 yards, finishing with 1,845. Emmitt Smith previously held the Dallas Cowboys' record with 1,773 rushing yards in 1995. Murray also had 392 carries, the most in Cowboys history.

5. Andrew Luck

Even without Peyton Manning throwing the ball in Indianapolis, Colts quarterbacks are still breaking records. Andrew Luck threw for 4,761 yards this season surpassing Manning's mark of 4,700 set in 2010. It's a quarterback driven league, and the Colts always seem to have a quality passer behind center.

6. Green Bay Packers

The Lions haven't won a single game at Lambeau Field since 1991, which would 23 years and 24 games ago as of press time. Not once have the Lions defeated Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers in the state of Wisconsin. The Packers' 24-game winning streak at home over the Lions is an NFL record.

7. Demaryius Thomas

This season, Demaryius Thomas had 1,619 receiving yards. That number broke the mark set by Rod Smith back in 2000 when he had 1,602 yards. Thomas did have two more touchdowns, but it never hurts when Manning is throwing you the ball.

8. Lamar Miller

On the final week of the season, Miami Dolphins running back Lamar Miller ran a long 97-yarder for a touchdown against the New York Jets. How long? So long that it is now the longest in Dolphins franchise history. The previous record was 77 yards, which was held by Leroy Harris and Keith Byars.

9. J.J. Watt

J.J. Watt was by far the single best player this season. With 20.5 sacks this year, Watt recorded 20 or more sacks for the second time in his career, also doing so in 2012. Watt is now the only player in NFL history to have 20 sacks in two seasons.

10. Odell Beckham Jr.

What a season it was for the New York Giants wide receiver. Beckham rewrote the Giants franchise records books for most receiving yards, catches and touchdowns by a Giants rookie receiver. This season, Beckham had 91 catches, 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns. Beckham's 91 catches and 12 touchdowns are both the second-best by any Giants receiver in a single season, regardless of experience.
