Tropical Storm Octave has reportedly gained strength, clocking sustained wind speed of 65mph. Reuters reports that it won't cause any harm on land -- it will fluctuate and eventually weaken by Monday.

The Miami National Hurricane Center spotted the tropical storm on the southern tip of Mexico and was going up north as of its current direction. This can certainly trigger high currents and waves within the Mexican coast. Softpedia News adds that it may hit hard the Cabo San Lucas resort. Once it reaches other regions like Texas, it can cause heavy amount of rain when it gets mixed up with other storms in the locality.

UPI stated that even if there aren't any coastal warnings given out yet, the hurricane center experts are still encouraging everyone to stay alert and be informed of how the storm progresses.

Another Tropical Storm Emerges Near Tropical Storm Octave 2013

Another storm named as Tropical Storm Priscilla was discovered forming up near the Tropical Storm Octave right on its southern part. The speed of its winds is eyes at 40mph with garnering of its strength expected to happen too. Its direction is predicted to move north at 12mph.

As of present weather reports, Tropical Storm Octave is still at its maintained strength but will weaken as soon as Tuesday. If this sounds good news, then it may have a twin bad news with Priscilla expected to move faster and gain more strength in the coming days.
