I don't think we've witnessed a season of "American Horror Story" where each episode keeps getting better and better. "Coven" is by far the most entertaining show on TV right now, and at at this rate I won't even care if aliens show up. The zombies are already less out of place than the "Asylum" zombies were, so aliens wouldn't be a big deal if Ryan Murphy has that planned for us. Anyway, let's take a look at what took place on our annual Halloween episode, "Fearful Pranks Ensue."

Fiona vs. Myrtle

So that redhead played by Frances Conroy, Myrtle Snow, is back with the witch council, which is kind of like the Ministry of Magic. They were summoned by Nan, who knows something fishy is up because she can no longer hear Madison. That's because Madison is now a stuffed human doll, thanks to Spaulding!

Myrtle is pissed because once again, Fiona will get away with murdering a fellow witch, which is a grievous sin in the witch world. The episode showed us how the rivalry first started between Myrtle and Fiona, and it was basically the same thing that's happening now. Myrtle knew Fiona killed the old supreme and tried to prove it by enchanting Spaulding's tongue. Spaulding, who was in love with Fiona, decided to cut his tongue off so he wouldn't spill the beans.

So yeah, that all happened.

Trick-or-Treat

Marie got a nice surprise for Halloween in the form of a Minotaur head. It's eyes and tongue were still moving! Gross, but awesome.

Fiona cut its head off after he raped Queenie, who almost died. I guess she learned her lesson: Never try to have sex with a Minotaur.

Naturally, Marie wasn't having this so she and her fellow hair dressers put a curse on the Salem witch house by raising the dead, something she did in 1961 when her friend's son was hanged because he was black.

Now, zombies are descending on the witch house and they look pretty hungry. Three of the zombies turned out to be LaLaurie's daughters, but I don't know why she was so scared because, you know, she's immortal.

Charms

- Turns out Madison wasn't the next Supreme because she had a heart murmur, and Supremes have, well, supreme health. So fabulous Fiona was wrong.

- Kyle was hilariously banging his head on a toilet after he killed his incestuous mother. Zoe, who's still annoyingly naive, decided to try and kill him with rat poison after he JUST came back to life. Make up your mind, girl. However, he escaped but it didn't seem to be that big of a deal because Zoe was back home by the end of the episode.

- You know who else is naive? Cordelia. Her husband Hank who's "going on business trips" is actually meeting women online, having sex with them and then shooting them in the head. And she's clueless Now that the Minotaur is gone (or his body, at least), I think we have our new villain.

- It's crazy how Fiona can be spot on about a person's dark side (Hank), yet still manage to keep a poker face when it comes to her own misdeeds. Cordelia needs to take some tips from her mom, but someone threw acid in her face, so she may have to deal with that first.

- LaLaurie is already seeming like the victim in this story which seems a little quick for a slave torturer, but at least she's being nice to Queenie.

- Speaking of Queenie, she's awesome and we can always expect her to tell it like it is.

"Madison Montgomery is a stone-cold bitch who loves hard drinking, big d--ks and trouble. If she's dead, it's probably because she got wasted and offered the Grim Reaper a hand job or something." Case in point.

- The real next Supreme has to be Zoe, right?

Verdict: Despite being a strong episode, it didn't feel finished. It felt like a "Part 1," which means next week will most likely bring an equally strong second half.
