Gamers will now be able to spend their real money in the online world of Los Santos, courtesy of Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto Online.

According to Gamepur, when Rockstar released the 1.05 title update for the online version of Grand Theft Auto V, the update included the ability to spend real cash.

"The update means players will be able to spend real money to buy in-game cash in Grand Theft Auto Online (all prices are in US dollars)," ItWire said.

According to the tech blog, gamers who spend $2.99 on the red shark cash card will receive $100,000 of GTA$. Gamers who spend $4.99 with their tiger shark cash card will receive $200,000 worth of GTA$.

"Players buying the bull shark card for $9.99 will get $500,000 while the most expensive cash card, the white shark, will net you $1,250,000 of in-game moolah," ITWire said.

Recently, Rockstar announced that its highly-anticipated Beach Bum DLC update will be released Nov. 19.

"All the new Beach Bum content will be added automatically to GTA Online through our next title update (1.06), and will include two new weapons, a quartet of rugged and fun new vehicles for land and sea, lots of new action-packed Jobs, plus a wide variety of suitably rad new apparel, hairstyle and tattoo customization options," Rockstar said via its Newswire page.

Accoridng to Rockstar, additional updates including a Content Creator, full on cooperative Heists, Grand Theft Auto Online's take on Capture the Flag and Story Mode updates are coming soon as well.
