Iconic singer Patti LaBelle was sent home from "Dancing with the Stars" Monday night.

The singer and another contestant, Robert Herjavec from "Shark Tank," were already in jeopardy of being voted off "DWTS" because of their performances last week, ABC News reports.

"I am honored to be here as long as I have been," LaBelle told co-host Erin Andrews after hearing the judges' decision. "I've learned so much about me."

LaBelle danced with an injured knee last week earning 27 points for her waltz. This week, she had the lowest number of viewer votes and judges' scores which decided her fate on the show.

The 70-year-old told Andrews that she has learned a lot about herself since being on the show.

"[I learned] that I can take direction. I've never done this before in my life. I learned a few steps, and I made a great friend in Artem," she said, referring to her pro partner Artem Chigvintsev.

Stars danced to classic songs inspired by spring break this week.

LaBelle lost one of her high-heeled shoes during her performance last night but kept a smile on her face.

"DWTS" judge Carrie Ann Inaba said Labelle was "the most consistent performer. Every time you come out here, I know for sure I am going to be entertained."

The head judge Len Goodman added following her performance, "I don't care who else comes on, no one will give us more fun and entertainment as you just did."
