Singer Justin Bieber has been spotted hanging out with model Kendall Jenner numerous times after his split with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez. This sparked rumors that the two are now dating, which is reportedly approved by Jenner's mom, Kris.

According to Hollywood Life, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" matriarch is excited for her 19-year-old daughter to date the controversial singer.

A source close to the matter revealed, "Kris is always pointing out how much Justin and Kendall have in common, even though she has nothing specific to say except Calvin Klein and church."

The source also disclosed the reason the famous momager approves of Jenner going out with the 21-year-old singer. The 59-year-old reality star believes that both her daughter and the singer have the potential and markings of becoming the next "it" couple, much like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

"Kris would die if Justin was actually part of the family. She even joked with him that he's Kendall's Brad Pitt! She's made that comparison multiple times," said an insider.

The source added that the reality TV mom "adores Justin and thinks he is perfect for her daughter."

"Kris supports the relationship 110%," the source said. "She just wishes they would become more serious with each other. And, believe me, she lets Kendall know it every opportunity she can."

The singer and model have been friends for a long time but their closeness has become more apparent in recent days. The two were even seen hanging out during Mother's Day, said another report in Hollywood Life. The duo met up with mutual friend, Hailey Baldwin, at the gym in the morning. The trio were then seen on their way to Jenner's house in Calabasas, where they reportedly hung out until late at night.

While the singer and model might be closer now more than ever, it seems that things are still not as serious as Kris would want it to be. Reports revealed that the "Beauty and a Beat" singer is still pining for his ex, Selena Gomez.

An insider spoke to Hollywood Life and revealed that, "Despite things with Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin, Justin has always held a torch for Selena. For him, they weren't just in love, they were soulmates and he hates when he can't have her in his life."

Gomez and Bieber finally ended their on-and-off relationship in October 2014, reported Daily Mail. The then couple was in France for a vacation but the 21-year-old singer was photographed having dinner with the model in Ferdi, Paris when he reportedly told Gomez that would be eating out with his security team.
