“Expendables 4” is one of today’s most awaited sequels, especially with rumors that the Filipino boxing champion -- Manny Pacquiao -- is going to be part of it.

Pacman’s involvement in the film has become the gist of many online news reports with speculations that he will finally join the film now that his five-years-in-the-making bout with Floyd Mayweather, Jr. has come to a close.

But Sylvester Stallone himself has recently confirmed that Pacquiao will not be part of “Expendables 4.” Despite rumors that he and Arnold Schwarzenegger had approached him about a movie deal, it turns out that Pacquiao will not appear in the movie.

Stallone did mention to TMZ Sports, though, that Pacman “is a good fighter.”

Stallone’s statements that Pacquiao won't be making an appearance in the film have somehow sparked rumors that the fourth installment of the “Expendables” franchise is really going to happen soon. Even Schwarzenegger has been encouraging Stallone to give the franchise another go.

“I just think it is a terrific franchise,” he told USA Today. “I told Sly to write another one or have someone else write another one – a really terrific story, because I think it is a great idea to have an ensemble piece with that many action heroes in a movie, especially if the comedy is really done well.”

In an interview with IGN, Jason Statham also recalled his experiences while working with Stallone. He said that sharing the same set with the “Rambo” star was “beyond a pinch yourself moment.”

“I remember growing up watching his films,” Statham said. “And to be directed by him and to be in a movie that he has produced and to be shoulder-to-shoulder with Sly is a privilege any man who loves action movies would never turn their nose up at. I mean, it is terrific. I will do as many as he wants.”

The “Transporter” actor’s statements indicated that he's more than willing to reprise his role as Lee Christmas in “Expendables 4.”

Now that the suspected hacker who leaked HD copies of “Expendables 3” has already been arrested, Stallone just might finally reveal his plans for a fourth movie.

“I would like to thank the Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit at the City of London Police for working with U.S. Homeland Security Investigations to apprehend the suspect in this case,” Stallone said, according to Deadline. “It is important to protect the rights of creatives around the world from theft.”
