A Limited Edition “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” for the Sony PlayStation 4 will be available across New Zealand, Australia, and Europe on Sept. 1.

The package will also include a limited edition gaming console, a 500 GB PS4 that is in a distinctive deep red color with a gold lining – which was reportedly inspired by the Bionic Arm of Snake, according to the PlayStation Blog.

The console is accompanied by a metallic grey DualShock 4 wireless controller that pretty much looks like Snake’s hand gun. Plus, what makes the entire Limited Edition console even more special is that the unit and its controller feature the Diamond Dogs unit emblem – which is the private military organization that Snake leads. In addition to these devices, “Metal Gear Solid V” gamers will also be given access to the Day 1 Edition of the game, which, in turn, will be pre-installed with bonus downloadable content.

Gamers who cannot avail of the Limited Edition bundle can still enjoy another “Metal Gear Solid V” bundle, which features a PS 4 unit and its corresponding DualShock 4 wireless controller in Jet Black.

According to the information that Larry Hryb or Major Nelson leaked to Xbox News, Xbox gamers will also have something to look forward to at this year’s E3 event, which has been slated to start a week from now. A new Xbox One 1 TB unit will be out soon and will reportedly come with an all-new Xbox One wireless controller, as well as a standard headphone jack. To make the deal even sweeter, the bundle will launch with a copy of “Halo: The Master Chief Collection” – all for $399, which is only $50 more compared to the price of the 500 GB variant.

Hryb mentioned that the new controller will support easier adjustment of the headset’s volume. It is also capable of microphone monitoring, as well as game audio and voice balance by making some tweaks on the settings menu of the console. Plus, the audio that can be heard from the controller has also been reportedly improved, as well as the maximum audio volume that headsets can easily reach once plugged into the controller.

The Xbox One 500 GB, which was attached to a promotional price of $349 has just gotten its official and permanent pricing. Just as many might have expected, the console’s promotional price has just been made its official price.
