Social media users have slammed Kelly Osbourne for recently posting a photo of herself in a costume and wig reminiscent of the controversial former NAACP leader Rachel Dolezal, Entertainment Tonight reports.

Osbourne took to Instagram on Thursday, June 18, to post the photo and captioned it with the hashtag "#CallMeRachel."

And though it appears that Osbourne finds the photo and look to be amusing, many social media users feel the opposite and slammed Osbourne for bullying Dolezal. "@kellyosbourne and you say you are against bullying... #hypocrite," one Instagram follower wrote according to ET. Other Instagram followers also called Osbourne a hypnotic while mentioning her disapproving stance when her former "Fashion Police" co-host Giuliana Rancic made fun of her friend Zendaya's look at the Oscars.

"This is ok ... But Giuliana's comment about Zendaya made u quit Fashion Police ... Hmmm," one user wrote, says ET. "Oh so I get it this is ok to make fun of but not your friends correct?" another user wrote. Despite the backlash, Osbourne posted the controversial photo yet again as a throwback post alongside a photo of her father.

Dolezal is a former NAACP leader who recently decided to step down from her position after being outed as being white by her parents.

Though Rachel has said that she identifies as black and has posed as a black woman for many years, her parents Larry and Ruthanne recently revealed to local newspaper The Spokesman-Review that their daughter has been lying about her ethnicity for many years and even provided the paper with her birth certificate and photos of Rachel as a white woman, People reports.

Now that the news has come out, two production companies have reached out to offer her the opportunity to star in her own reality TV show, says RadarOnline, which adds that Dolezal is also seeking professional representation following her newfound celebrity.
