Celebrity couple John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are offering their luxury New York City loft on the market.

The Grammy-winning singer and his model-wife listed their New York apartment for $4.5 million, Variety reported. The lovely pair bought the unit for only $2.55 million, roughly three years ago, which means a closed deal on the real estate property will make the beautiful and famous husband and wife tandem $2 million richer.

The 1,969-square-foot home includes only one bedroom but has two bathrooms. The condo unit, designed by Don Stewart of Desiderata Design, is said to be located on a 19th century city landmark.

Photos of the home are available on Architectural Digest when the singer, famed for "All of Me," a song dedicated to his gorgeous wife, welcomed the magazine crew in their abode. The images show an artistic and elegant apartment, which confirms that a small space can still exude beauty, given the right touches. The dining area shows an exquisite chandelier, a stunning painting and even smooth wooden flooring, making it an attractive and comfortable place to dine in.

The living area is full of life with its vibrant blue colors, various plants as accents and spanning glass panels that create a room filled with light and warm glow. The next owners might also like the "bronze-clad island kitchen" that exudes sophistication and class. Custom-built cabinets and sleek hanging lights further enhance the modern vibe of the cooking station.

An alcove in the living area surrounded by brick walls and reclaimed wood can serve as a nice working nook. It may be turned into a simple reading area or perhaps, a piano area like what the multi-awarded singer did to the space.

The singer-songwriter has a liking to creatively-designed walls, which he admitted to the magazine.

"We tend to look for the opposite of what most people want," Legend said.

His muse has the same taste when it comes to indoor living style.

"I absolutely love this (pointing to the brick wall just outside the kitchen window). I'd rather have a wall than a view of the Empire State Building," the stunning model said.

Aside from the walls, the couple also appreciate the open floor plan of their home.

"We appreciate big open-plan rooms like this because we want people to come over and feel comfortable," said Legend.

The New York apartment serves as as the couples' haven from their busy schedule, which explains the one-bedroom setting, as they prefer not having overnight guests.

A property hunter who shares the same high-profile lifestyle while living in the city will surely appreciate living in this humble but stylish abode.
