No one would want to pick a fight with a six-footer rugby star - that is, except for 1D member Niall who blasted Mike Phillips on Twitter.

Nialler wasn't at all contented with cheering on Ireland and had to refer to Mike as a child and an arrogant idiot, all on the same tweet.

"Mike Philips is like a child throwing his toys out of the pram! his attitude is terrible, looks like a right arrogant idiot," the 1D member tweeted.

"Wales lost the game at the Aviva Stadium, with Phillips losing it big time in an entertaining bust-up with Ireland fullback Rob Kearney," says the Metro.

The scrum-half was quick to notice Nialler's critique and challenged the Irish lad to face him, asking him to come with the rest of the band.

"@NiallOfficial come down to training in the week big boy. Bring the rest of The Beatles with you," Phillips tweeted.

The 1D member was not at all afraid of Phillips and even posted a photo of the earlier brawl between the Lions No. 9 and Rob Kearney during the Saturday game at the Aviva Stadium. Niall captioned the photo "yesterday."

Kearney joined Niall and Phillips in their Twitter brawl, bringing in humor to rather heated feud.

"@mikephillips009 don't worry @NiallOfficial - I've got your back!!" Kearney tweeted.

In the end, the scrum-half proved he was mature enough to handle a 20-year old's tweet, concluding the supposed feud on a positive note.

Phillips posted a photo of him with Kearney saying, "Where did it all go wrong ! Haha congrats on the win @NiallOfficial @KearneyRob."

Ireland triumphed over Wales at 26-3, leading at 13-0 at half-time, reports the BBC. "It is the first time Ireland have started a Six Nations campaign with back-to-back victories since 2009, the year they won the Grand Slam," says the BBC report.
