Nintendo 3DS gamers outside of Japan and Korea can finally get their hands on "Monster Hunter 4" as Capcom has announced that it will be releasing the game, titled "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate", to North American and European markets in 2015.

The game was first released in Japan and Korea in 2013. Gamespot reports that during the Hunter Festa '13, Capcom announced that it will be unveiling an updated version of the game, called "Monster Hunter 4G" in Japan for 2014. "MH 4 Ultimate" will be the Western counterpart of "MH 4G".

In a video announcement made by the game's series producer Ryozo Tsuzjimoto, he said, "While we wanted to maintain the familiar features that fans have come to love, we really wanted to evolve the series in a new direction, to appeal to existing players and attract new ones as well."

Tsuzjimoto added that "MH 4 Ultimate" will offer players a wider range of vertical and lateral motion. This will allow players to move more fluidly, offering more interactive actions with the environment and other characters in the game.

Cubed3 also reported that aside from these, the "MH4 Ultimate" will also feature local wireless and online multiplayer settings. Gamers will also be treated to vast new environments, and an assortment of new weapons, items, and characters.

Gamers can also expect to see a new monster featured in the game. According to Siliconera, during Japan's Nintendo Direct, viewers were teased with an X-shaped footprint of a monster.

AnimeNewsNetwork reports that through the same presentation, Nintendo also announced that it will be releasing a limited edition Monster Hunter 4 3DS XL model. Officially dubbed as the Rajang Golden 3DS XL, the console will be released in Japan on March 27 of this year and will cost 18,952 yen, which is roughly around $190.00.
