Lewis Hamilton has been linked with several women lately, following his split from Nicole Scherzinger. Recently, the Formula 1 racer was rumored to be dating Kendall Jenner, after sources claimed they were flirting with each other during the Grand Pix in Monaco. However, Lewis finally laid those rumors to rest and revealed the truth about his relationship with the model.

E! News caught up with Hamilton at the Opening Ceremony Spring 2016 fashion show during the New York Fashion Week, where he was asked about the status of his relationship with Kendall. The 30-year-old said he and Kendall are simply on a platonic relationship and that there's no romance brewing between them.

"Me and Kendall have been friends for a while, so we're just friends," he said.

Lewis also complimented Kendall on her success in the modelling industry and called her "incredible" and "very focused." He told E! News that he thinks Kendall is "very level-headed and for such a young woman, she's very grown up."

Kendall and Lewis were recently spotted hanging out together in New York City. A couple of photos shared by Mirror UK show the pair, along with a male friend, walking along the streets of NYC. One photo shows Kendall and Lewis walking side by side, but not close to each other. Another shot shared by the site captured the model walking ahead of Lewis, while he follows behind with his male friend.

Back in May, the pair sparked rumors of a romantic relationship after a source told US Weekly that they were being flirty with each other. Lewis invited Kendall and a few of her model friends, including Gigi Hadid, to a yacht party during the Grand Pix in Monaco. The source told the publication that Lewis and Kendall enjoyed their time together as they rode on jet skis and lounged on the yacht.

"They were both laughing and having a great time. They were rubbing shoulders and sitting close together all day," the source said.

Lewis was also previously linked to Rihanna but he has since denied rumors they are dating. E! News also caught up with the racer at the recent MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 30 where he was asked to comment on the rumors. In the video below, Lewis is heard saying that he has known RiRi for a long time so they get to hang out every now and then, but just as "good friends."
