In honor of National Coffee Day on Tuesday, Sept. 29, many popular coffee chains are offering deals to help devoted java drinkers celebrate.

We've compiled a list of the best freebies and deals to help you get your caffeine fix.

Starbucks is not giving away free coffee for National Coffee Day. Instead, the popular coffee chain is launching their One Tree for Every Bag Commitment campaign, which gives customers the opportunity to help the families of the coffee farmers who grow the beans for everyone's favorite morning beverage, WTSP reports.

Every time someone buys a bag of Starbucks coffee at the chain's many retail locations, a tree will be planted somewhere in the world where it is needed. In addition, Starbucks is planting 1 million coffee trees in farming communities that need help now.

The campaign will last one year.

Customers can receive a free medium cup of coffee at Dunkin' Donuts with the option to choose hot or iced dark roast coffee. There is a limit of one cup per guest. The offer is available at participating locations.

Krispy Kreme is offering customers a free small coffee and a free original glazed donut for the special day, ABC Channel 6 reports.

If you live in Clearwater, Florida, Nature's Food Patch is offering a complimentary organic, free trade cup of coffee.

United Way Suncoast and Kahwa Coffee Roasting have teamed up to offer Bay Area residents a free small cup of java at all Kahwa Coffee locations, but there's a catch: Patrons must say "I Live United" when ordering "in honor of the organizations' joint interest in creating a stronger, more vibrant community," according to the company.

Get a free small cup of Peet's Major Dickason Blend with the purchase of any baked good, oatmeal or fresh food item at Peet's Coffee & Tea.

Wawa is offering a free coffee in the cup size of your choice.

LaMar's Donuts is giving away free 12-ounce cups of coffee and free mugs, while supplies last.

The airline JetBlue is celebrating National Coffee Day in the friendly skies. JetBlue's Mint customers can sip on free espresso brews from the Brooklyn Roasting Company.

Sheetz gas stations and convenience stores will provide patrons with a free cup of coffee.

Pilot and Flying J truck stops are offering free 16-ounce coffees or cappuccinos with a coupon.

The office supply chain Staples is hosting a contest for the holiday. Post a photo of yourself and your favorite coffee mug on social media and use the hashtag #OfficeMugShot for a chance to win a free coffee pack.
