The Atlanta Falcons are 5-0, and ESPN reports that they are legitimate Super Bowl contenders. They defeated the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans and Washington Redskins to maintain a perfect start to the season.

However, according to Bleacher Report, one Falcons player is off to a poor start and could be traded before the deadline on Nov. 3. Long-time Atlanta player and wide receiver Roddy White told ESPN last week that he wants to be more involved in the team's offense.

"For me, at the end of the day, I want to catch passes. I'm not out here just [expletive] around just to sit around to just block [expletive] people all day. It's not what I want to do. I've contributed to offenses for this franchise for the last nine, 10 years. It always bothers me when I go out and don't catch any balls in a game because it hasn't happened in so long," White said.

Atlanta's receiving coach Terry Robiskie advised White to look at his situation in a different way. "Roddy's got all the records. He's done fantastic. He's been one of the greatest guys at his organization at his position in the NFL. But at the end of the day, he doesn't have a ring. Hopefully he sees, like the world sees, this is Julio's team," Robiskie told ESPN.

The 33-year-old wide receiver understands what Robiskie is saying. He responded, "I'm a football player and a competitor at the end of the day, so my mindset is always to win football games, set ourselves up for playoff games, and try to make it to the Super Bowl."

However, several teams are reportedly interested in the services of the four-time Pro Bowler. NFL.com reports that at least three teams have inquired about the availability of the Falcons all-time franchise receiving leader. No team names have been dropped, but the report notes that if Leonard Hankerson plays better in the coming weeks, it will likely lead to White being traded.

The report added that trading White will not be easy for the Cardinals as he makes $5 million this season, and the team is reportedly not interested in eating any money from the contract. NFL.com named the Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens as likely landing spots for the veteran wide receiver. Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports added on Twitter that the Dallas Cowboys are also potential players in the Roddy sweepstakes.

White has a career score of 771 receptions for 10,449 yards with 62 touchdowns, per Pro-Football-Reference.com. For the season, he has only six receptions for 92 yards with no touchdown and is on pace to have a career-low season, per NFL.com.
