Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) will find himself in very dangerous circumstances, while Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) will be forced to work together in order to figure out what exactly Lucien (guest star Andrew Lees) wants in the next episode of "The Originals."

In the last episode, Lucien returned to warn Klaus and Elijah that the sire lines are at war, and that if any of the Originals is killed, then every vampire sired by their line will also die.

In next week's episode, "I'll See You in Hell or New Orleans," Elijah and Klaus will need to work together in order to uncover Lucien's real reason for coming to New Orleans. However, this particular task will be challenging for Elijah, since he still has not forgiven his brother for partaking in a curse that has turned Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) into a wolf for the majority of each month.

According to CarterMatt, the synopsis for the upcoming installment also teases that Cami (Leah Pipes) will discover surprising news about Lucien and his past relationship with Klaus. The description reads:

"With tension running as high as ever, Klaus and Elijah are forced to come together in order to uncover Lucien's true motives in New Orleans. Cami is caught off guard when she finds herself face to face with Lucien and is surprised when he reveals some unexpected information about his past with Klaus. Elsewhere, a mysterious figure presents an enticing offer to Marcel, while Hayley turns to an unconventional way of coping with her current situation. Finally, an old acquaintance from Elijah's past arrives in New Orleans and delivers some startling news involving the growing threat to the Mikaelson siblings."

"Veronica Mars" star Jason Dohring recently opened up about his new role as Detective Will Kinney on the vampire series, revealing that he is apprehensive about his character's humanly fate on the show. Dohring also talked about Will's "attraction" for Cami and how their relationship might evolve.

"He's smart, confident [and] wants to find out what's going on after he discovers this serial string of murders," Dohring said, describing his character and his suspicion about the paranormal activity going on in New Orleans.

"In the future episodes, he winds up getting more pulled into the supernatural world. He's determined to figure it out, so he winds up in this terrifying situation," he added.

In order to find out more about the supernatural world, Will "enlists the help of Cami and Vincent, who's a friend from before, a confidant, and he knows about the occult, so [Will] pulls him in to find out more about it. He suspects that he's not being told everything, 'cause he's a detective," the "Moonlight" actor said.

"It seems like it could be straight-by-the-book-help and a romance sort of thing," Dohring said, when asked to describe the dynamic between Will and Cami. "There's certainly an attraction."

"He respects her right from the start," the actor added. "She's smart and she's not one to be messed with. They're both good people and they connect."

Season 3 Episode 3 of "The Originals" will premiere on The CW on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 9 p.m. ET.
