Mariah Carey recently announced new dates for her Sweet Sweet Fantasy 2016 European tour.

The 45-year-old "We Belong Together" singer plans to head out on her European trek starting March 15, 2016, in Glasgow at the SSE Hydro, according to Billboard.

Carey will travel all over Europe visiting places like England, Wales, Luxembourg, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and France. She will also play two back-to-back dates in South Africa at the Ticketpro Dome on May 1 and 2, which will wrap up her overseas tour.

At the moment Carey is performing a number of dates at New York City's Beacon Theatre for her "All I Want for Christmas Is You" concert series. During the show she played some of her most well-known holiday tracks: "Silent Night" and "Jesus What a Wonderful Child" from her 1994 album, "Merry Christmas"; and "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" and "Charlie Brown Christmas," which are off of her 2010 follow-up, "Merry Christmas II You." She also performed some non-holiday tracks, like "Hero" and "We Belong Together." Carey closes out the performances with her most famous holiday song of all, "All I Want for Christmas Is You."

The singer is also releasing her made-for-TV movie "A Christmas Melody" on Saturday, Dec. 19 on the Hallmark channel. The movie follows Kristin, played by Lacey Chabert, who is a divorcee forced to move back in with her parents in Ohio with her daughter Emily after she has to close her small Manhattan boutique. Kristin next runs into her high school rival Melissa, who is played by Carey, and makes Kristin feel as unwelcome as possible. In the end Kristin and Emily find the holiday spirit with help from music teacher Danny, played by Brennan Elliott, and Kristin's Aunt Sarah, played by Kathy Najimy.

Carey released her last album, "Me. I Am Mariah . . . The Elusive Chanteuse," in May 2014.
