During a recent interview with Wetpaint, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum Lisa Wu opened up about starring in the new TV One reality series, "Hollywood Divas." Wu also revealed that while appearing on the first two seasons of "RHOA," producers made her omit the fact that she is an actor, writer and producer.

"On 'Real Housewives of Atlanta,' they wouldn't allow me to say on the first season that I was an actor or writer or producer because they wanted real personality," she said. "But then on the second season when everyone was like, 'I'm an actor,' and everyone was like, 'Oh, Lisa's just following,' but I'm like, 'No, I started this many years ago.'"

Wu is now able to flaunt her talents on the new reality series "Hollywood Divas." Since leaving the "RHOA" franchise after the second season, Wu has not appeared on reality television. However, because "Hollywood Divas" -- which stars Elise Neal, Paula Jai Parker, Golden Brooks and Countess Vaughn -- allows her to showcase her acting and producing skills, Wu decided to take on reality TV once again.

"I was very reluctant to even return back to reality television," she said. "I can say the only reason I decided to do ['Hollywood Divas'] is because it makes sense, you know, with my peers."

The Inquistr reported, despite her strained relationship with producers of the "RHOA" franchise, Wu still maintains a close relationship with "RHOA" cast members NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss.

Wu also admitted to Wetpaint that she continues to watch "RHOA" and is not fond of Kenya Moore. She described Moore as "whoa," saying she "provokes" and "eggs on" a lot of the cast members.

Moore has yet to respond to Wu's statement.

"Hollywood Divas" airs on TV One on Wednesdays at 10/9c.
