Only two weeks after premiering "Un Camino Hacia el Destino," Univision is introducing another Televisa-produced telenovela, while another project could feature the return of Eiza González.

Univision Presents "Sueño de Amor"

Next month Univision will be premiering a new family-friendly telenovela called "Sueño de Amor" starring Cristián de la Fuente and Betty Monroe.

The original telenovela was made by the creators of "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo" and "Una Familia Con Suerte," and it includes a diverse cast of different ages.

Set in Mexico, the plot follows Ricardo (de la Fuente), a licensed teacher and Interpol agent who works undercover as a teacher to keep an eye on a jewel thief, and Esperanza (Monroe), a teacher who works two jobs to provide for her children.

The two are in love but must overcome their personal family problems, including Ricardo's marriage, to be together.

The cast of the telenovela also includes Renata Notni ("Amor de barrio"), Julián Gil ("La que no podía amar"), Sabine Moussier ("Amores Verdaderos") and Osvaldo de León ("Lo Imperdonable").

Fans can catch the telenovela when it premieres on Univision on Tuesday, March 8.

Eiza González to Make Telenovela Return?

González is busy making her crossover to mainstream American entertainment with her role as Santanico Pandemonium on the series "From Dusk Till Dawn" and as one of the faces of Nutregena. But she may return to telenovelas soon.

According to TVyNovelas, producer Nicandro Díaz has created a role for the actress in one of his upcoming projects and revealed that he hopes to work around the star's busy schedule, which includes several upcoming films.

The 26-year-old actress has yet to discuss the topic, but given Díaz's resume and the fact that the two have worked together before, she may just make time for another telenovela.

González rose to fame with the lead role in "Amores Verdaderos," which she starred in alongside Argentinian-Mexican actor Sebastián Rulli.
