DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 is on a holiday hiatus. Despite that, Matt Letscher revealed some details about his character. Plus, "The Originals" actress will guest star when the show returns.

DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 is currently on a break. According to News Everyday, the show decided to be off the air for the holiday season. The production team is also prepping up for adventurous plotlines this 2017.

Other than that, series regular Matt Letscher shared some details via Yahoo! News about his character's effort to fasten things up. Letscher stated, "I absolutely know why he's in such a hurry. I didn't know until just a couple of weeks ago.

But now that I'm in full possession of that knowledge, not one whit of which I can't divulge.It's something big and it's driving everything" in the remaining episodes of the installment. "There's definitely a plan in place, and the second half of the season is culmination towards what it is."

Letscher plays the role of Eobard "Reverse Flash" Thawne.

On the other hand, "The Originals" actress Elyse Levesque will officially appear in DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2. According to Entertainment Weekly, the 31-year-old Canadian film and TV actress will play the guest role of Queen Guinevere.

Levesque's casting was announced by cast member Caity Lotz via Twitter. Lotz posted a photo together with the newcomer.

Levesque will debut in episode 12 titled as "Camelot 3000" which has been in an ongoing production since December 1, 2016.

DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 episode 9 is titled as "Raiders of Lost Arc". The series returns Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at 9:00 p.m. EST first and exclusive on The CW.
