"Nier: Automata" is a PC game that is fun, philosophical RPG, which the gamers caught off guard of how good it is. However, a lot of gamers have been complaining about the one area of the game where the resolution of the game is limited to 1080p with frequent glitches and stutters especially in open areas of the game.

According to Eurogamer, among the other issues, a dedicated fan of "Nier: Automata" has come through and released its own patch that fixed most of the issue of the game. The patch was developed by Steam user Kaldaien, which tweaks the game's setting and make few things more interesting as it gives an improvement in its performance.

The "Nier: Automata" fan patch has also found its way to add a big jump on the game's framerate, which frequently drop from 45fps on the lowest graphical settings to 60fps. It also disables the GeForce Experience and Nvidia Shield features that limit framerate to 60fps, which make the buffering reduce its input latency.

Digital Trends added that a lot of gamers of "Nier: Automata" have reported an improvement in the game's performance. Everyone has a positive feedback and confirmed its benefits on their systems, while some users on Steam claims that they were able to double the anti-aliasing and have a good framerates in their end too.

It is important to note that the patch for "Nier: Automata" is not yet official fix, it suggests that those who struggled to run the game, it can now max it out with a smooth framerate. Installing the patch requires the gamers to switch the game into "Testing" branch and download the game patch from Kaldaien's GitHub page, where the upcoming updates are frequently added.

The developer of the fan patch of "Nier: Automata" promised to keep on tweaking the patch by adding some new frame-pacing limiter, which could lessen the cutscene stuttering.
