Heimdall's MCU Return Could Happen In 'Loki' Season 2: Will He be a Great Addition to the Disney Plus Series?

Heimdall is one of the most beloved characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is the gatekeeper of all worlds in Asgard, the home of Asgardians, such as Odin, Loki, and Thor.

This Asgardian also guards the Bifrost Bridge, thanks to his ever-seeing eye, which allows him to see all the things happening in the Nine Realms. However, many fans were heartbroken after the MCU production team decided to kill Heimdall in the popular "Avengers: Infinity War."

In this movie, the character was brutally impaled by the show's main villain during that time. Thanos used Corvus Glaive's weapon to kill him. However, Marvel Cinematic Universe Fandom reported that even though he is on his last breath, the gatekeeper was still able to transport Hulk a.k.a Bruce Banner, back to the New York Sanctum on Earth.

Heimdall Could Return in 'Loki' Season 2

According to Yahoo Entertainment's latest report, MCU fans could have something that they really should look forward to. The popular guardian of Asgard is claimed to be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Screen Rant also reported that the character is expected to arrive on the upcoming Disney Plus series "Loki" Season 2. However, Marvel Studios hasn't confirmed the exact release date as of the moment.

Although this is the case, some speculations claimed that the new Marvel series could arrive before or after 2023. Meanwhile, the leaked information is currently hyping many fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially since they want to see more from Idris Elba, the actor who played Heimdall.

Another thing that gets the watchers excited is the recently released "The Suicide Squad." The new action movie showed that Elba could also play the main character of the story.

Will Heimdall be a Great Addition in 'Loki' Season 2? 

Idris took the role of Bloodsport, who is the protagonist and team leader in the story. Because of the amazing acting skill he showed in the new film, he was interviewed.

During the interview, he hinted that Heimdall is not actually dead. Because of his statements, many fans are now expecting the return of his beloved gatekeeper role.

"I think the constraints of the sort of superhero universe are none, so everything is possible. I think that Heimdall is an amazing character and still exists," said the Hollywood actor.

Aside from Heimdall's return, you also need to expect some important things from the upcoming "Loki" Season 2. One of these is the reuniting of Loki and Sylvie.
