LeBron James' combination of scoring and passing has been unique in the National Basketball Association (NBA) history since the moment he played in the league.

Just last Sunday, the 19-year veteran becomes the only player with at least 25,000 points and 10,000 assists, joining six of the greatest passers in basketball history, CBS reported.

He is also the first player in the NBA to achieve a career triple-quintuple: 10,000 points, rebounds, and assists.

At age 37, LeBron remains one of the best scorers in the NBA, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's record of 38,387 points being beaten is almost a foregone conclusion. But let's take a look at The King's wealth. How much is LeBron James' net worth?

LeBron James' Net Worth and Salary

Widely considered as one of the greatest all-around players of all time, LeBron Raymone James won NBA championships with the Miami Heat (2012 and 2013), the Cleveland Cavaliers (2016), and the Los Angeles Lakers (2020).

Forbes reported that the Lakers' star earned more than $110 million for the eighth straight year - $70 million of which comes from his off-court ventures. LeBron is currently the sixth-highest paid player in the NBA in terms of salary alone, with his annual base salary at $42.8 million.

As reported by Forbes, LeBron has a staggering net worth of $850 million. He has yet to hit a billionaire status.

Outside of sports, the Celebrity Net Worth reported that The King is one of the world's highest-earning and powerful celebrities. LeBron reportedly earns more than $50 million per year in endorsements and has a $1 billion lifetime contract with Nike.

The NBA star is known for investing smartly in ventures off the court. LeBron has been a part-owner of Liverpool FC since 2011 and has a 2 percent stake in the club.

He also has endorsement deals with dozens of companies, including McDonald's, Microsoft, State Farm, Beats by Dre, Coca-Cola, Dunkin-Donuts, Baskin Robbins, Samsung, and more.

At his current earnings and investment pace, the four-time NBA MVP could become a billionaire in 2035.

LeBron James' Early Life

As most sports fanatic knows, LeBron James skipped college and went straight to the pros as the first pick of the 2003 NBA draft by his hometown team, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

According to Forbes, his first contract was worth $18.8 million for four years.

When LeBron was just an infant, his mother got him a miniature hoop and basketball, which he played with for hours. Basketball quickly became his life, and he excelled on the court right away.

LeBron went to high school at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. As a high school sophomore, he became the youngest person to join the USA Today All-USA First Team.

He was awarded the Gatorade National Player of the Year in his junior year, and it was also around that time he became known as "King James." In his four years on the team, he brought three Ohio state championships.

LeBron began to appear on the covers of "SLAM" magazine and Sports Illustrated even while still in high school. It was clear to everyone that he was destined to become an NBA superstar.

LeBron James now has three children with his high school sweetheart, Savannah Brinson. His early years growing up in Akron's Springhill Apartments and how that transformed him into the man he is today will be featured in his hometown of Akron as he gets his own museum next year.
