Johnny Depp's attorney Camille Vasquez, who helped the actor win his defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard, has reportedly decided not to work with Kanye West due to his anti-Semitic remarks.

Page Six reported that the billionaire rapper hired Camille Vasquez. But less than a week after she was hired, TMZ reported Monday that Vasquez told her company, Brown Rudnick, that she no longer wanted to represent Kanye.

Although the well-respected lawyer took a stand, sources told TMZ that her firm would still work with the rapper if he retracted his statements. However, Brown Rudnick was reportedly fired after it held Kanye to the position that he should apologize.

TMZ reported that Camille Vasquez, a Los Angeles-based lawyer, was supposed to represent Kanye West in his business matters, handling contracts and other deals.

Netflix Will Not Remove Kanye West's Documentary 'Jeen-Yuhs'

Netflix said that Kanye West's documentary, "Jeen-Yuhs," will stay online, even though he recently made some anti-Semitic comments. According to Page Six, Kanye's personal life and career were highlighted in "Jeen-Yuhs," which was released earlier this year.

Some celebrities have already asked Adidas to stop working with Kanye, just like Balenciaga, Vogue, and the rapper's legal team. In an Instagram story on Monday, Kanye's ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, criticized him and said that hate speech is "never OK or excusable."

"I stand together with the Jewish community and call on the terrible violence and hateful rhetoric towards them to come to an immediate end," the Skims founder wrote.

Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and momager Kris Jenner all posted the same graphic on their social media pages earlier in the day to condemn his behavior.

"I support my Jewish friends and the Jewish people," the post read.

While several businesses, such as Balenciaga and the talent agency CAA, are severing ties with Kanye, a Netflix representative told TMZ that the company has no plans to pull down its "Jeen-Yuhs" documentary trilogy on the rapper's life.

Netflix said they are not partners as Kanye was the subject of the documentary and not promoting the streaming site. The streaming service claimed that Kanye's documentary does not contain antisemitic content and does not take down content about or created by individuals who later cause trouble.

Kanye West and Chaney Jones, an Instagram model who used to be linked to the rapper, went to see the documentary when it first aired in Los Angeles earlier this year. A lot of famous people were also there.

Kanye's documentary will still be available on Netflix. However, Hollywood studio MRC allegedly removed the rapper's complete documentary due to his recent anti-Semitic comments.

Def Jam Has Also Dropped Kanye West's Label, G.O.O.D. Music

Recent reports suggested Def Jam may have ditched Kanye West's label G.O.O.D. Music, adding Def Jam to the list of businesses that have retreated working with the rapper.

Even though Kanye's relationship with Def Jam ended after the release of his album Donda in 2021, it is still unclear if he was supposed to work with the company before he started acting in a racist way on his platform.

The rapper's Adidas partnership might also end as the company's stock plummets due to his recent behaviors, We Got This Covered reported.

According to reports, the rapper's streams have also declined because of the controversy. However, Kanye keeps making anti-Semitic comments, even though more and more people are cutting ties with him.

Kanye was at a Paris fashion show for designers earlier this month. It was during the Paris Fashion Week he showed off a shirt with the words "White Lives Matter" on its back. The rapper immediately faced backlash after the show.

In subsequent interviews, including one with NewsNation host Chris Cuomo, Kanye claimed he was being persecuted by "the Jewish underground media mafia." His closest friends said Kanye West is only in the midst of his worst "psychiatric episode."
