After three of his former lawyers and Georgia co-defendants pleaded guilty, a spokesperson for Donald Trump appeared on "The Absolute Truth" show by Trump ally Mike Lindell. She said that the former president is confused as to why they pleaded guilty.

Trump spokesperson Liz Harrington told the host that Donald Trump does not seem to understand why his co-defendants, Jenna Ellis, Sidney Powell, and Ken Chesboro, who are all attorneys themselves, pleaded guilty to their charges in Georgia.

"I think [Trump is] a little confused because if you're a lawyer, you know there's no crimes here," said Harrington. "According to the law, there's literally nothing to plead guilty to because there's nothing that was - no laws that were broken. Speaking out against a fraudulent election and telling people to watch hearings and petition their elected officials about fraud that was happening on camera. I mean, it's just surprising."

Yahoo! News pointed out that she is not a lawyer and does not have any legal training or background. Other media outlets have also listed that Harrington has been infamous for spreading misinformation and making false statements.

Ellis, Chesboro, and Powell were charged alongside Trump and 15 others in the vast Georgia RICO case as they sought to undermine the results of the Georgia election. Powell is central for the attempted access of voting machines in Coffee County, while Ellis is known for spreading false information. Meanwhile, Chesebro is said to be the man behind the false electors scheme, where Trump allies tried to install fake electors to replace the actual electors and vote for Trump instead of Biden.

This may just be a new attempt by Trump and his allies to distance themselves from the three disgraced lawyers and sway public opinion toward him. Trump himself has stated that Powell was "never" his attorney, but this has since been debunked as Powell had been acting on his behalf, with Trump himself publicly announcing that the "Kraken Lawyer" is part of his legal team.

Donald Trump Raises Cognitive Questions After He Gets Confused Which City He Is In

Meanwhile, as Donald Trump's co-defendants were beginning to plead guilty one by one in Georgia, the former president continued on his campaign trail. However, he was reportedly confused as to where he was.

According to MTN, the former president was in Sioux City, Iowa, but was repeatedly referring to the city as Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Iowa State Senator Brad Zaun then corrected the president, telling him, "You're in Sioux City, not Sioux Falls." However, just like with the subject of his co-defendants turning on him, Trump appeared confused on stage.

"Oh it's, oh it's - is that right?" Trump asked, befuddled.

Donald Trump Blasting Joe Biden Over Cognitive Concerns Raises Eyebrows After Own Gaffes

Throughout his campaign, Trump had been attacking Joe Biden over his many gaffes and calling the president's cognitive abilities into question. However, after the Sioux City confusion and his various own gaffes, Trump's own cognitive abilities have come back into question.

As The Guardian pointed out, Trump has accused Biden of leading the US into "World War II," a war that has ended since 1945.

He has also since claimed that he defeated Barack Obama in the 2016 election, confusing him for Hillary Clinton. While many in the left and the center have made fun of these Trump gaffes, these have largely been ignored by Trump fans who are angry that the same is happening with Biden.
