"Orange Is the New Black's" Matt McGorry is teaming up with Shonda Rhimes to star in her new show, "How to Get Away With Murder."

But not to worry folks, McGorry will still be playing the role of John Bennett on "OITNB" while he works on Rhimes' show, which will make its series debut on ABC's Fall TV lineup.

McGorry first made his "How to Get Away With Murder" announcement at the 2014 Television Critics Association summer press tour, E! News reports.

The 28-year-old actor thanked ABC for allowing him to work on Rhimes' show while simultaneously working on Netflix's "OITNB." McGorry described the opportunity as "incredible."

"Generally speaking, I get to be present in both shows, which is sort of amazing," he said. "I am allowed to do both, which is incredible and I think ABC giving me permission to do that is really quite wonderful ... It's too early to tell how it's going to work, but same way as Pablo Schreiber in season two, you can shoot things out of order. Thankfully, I get to do both."

"OITNB" actor Laura Prepon also had to deal with scheduling conflicts on Season 2 of the Netflix show while working on other projects.

Because of her scheduling commitments for other projects she was working on at the time, Prepon was only able to appear on four episodes during Season 2 of "OITNB."

But now that her scheduling is in order, Prepon will be back full-time on "OITNB" Season 3.

Schreiber however, recently made the announcement that he was leaving the cast of "OITNB" to join the cast of HBO's "The Brink."

So what are McGorry's plans if "How to get Away with Murder" gets renewed for Season 2 and requires more of his time?

"It's hard to really know," McGorry said at the TCA press tour. "I think it's just going to depend on what happens and when shooting schedules are," he said. "It's a lot of logistics mostly, but it really is incredible to be part of two shows especially with such powerful, wonderful female producers and a very diverse cast."

"How to Get Away With Murder" is a suspense mystery drama that focuses on a group of law students who become part of a murder plot involving their criminal defense professor played by Viola Davis.

The show premieres on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014 at 10/9c. Will you be watching?
