Singer Kylie Minogue will be the newest coach on "The Voice UK."

"I'm very excited to become a coach on 'The Voice,'" Minogue said. "I love the concept of the show and have been an avid viewer of both series."

Minogue, who is an Australian native, will replace former coach Jessie J and join Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am, of The Black Eyed Peas, on the judge panel, a post on "The Voice's" blog said.

"The search for new talent is such an important aspect of the music industry, and 'The Voice' gives us all a part to play in that," Minogue said. "Will I be competitive? Probably more than even I imagine! Watch this space!"

In July, Jessie J announced that she was leaving the singing competition show. Since the end of August, rumors circulated that Minogue, 45, would be Jessie J's replacement. Soon after Jessie J's announcement, judge Danny O' Donoghue, lead singer of pop band The Script, announced he would be not be returning for the third season of "The Voice" either.

"While I will miss Danny and Jessie, I'm excited to be returning for Season 3 and to work with Kylie and Tom," will.i.am said. "Together we will mix it up and bring new energy and ideas to the show."

Jones, a Welsh singer famous for hits including "What's New Pussycat" and "Green, Green Grass of Home," is also excited to have Minogue on the judging panel.

"I'm really looking forward to series 3 of 'The Voice,' and although I'll miss Jessie and Danny, Kylie and the fourth coach will be a welcome addition to the line-up," Jones said.

The fourth coach for "The Voice" has yet to be announced.

Minogue is a Grammy award-winner and has sold over 68 million records worldwide. She received an O.B.E. for her contribution to music. The singer also has more than 50 hit singles and has been on 10 world tours.

"I knew the line-up wouldn't disappoint," Charlotte Moore, BBC One controller, said. "To secure the princess of pop, Kylie, and announce the return of will.i.am and Sir Tom is a really great moment for the show. Bring on 'The Voice' series three, back on BBC One in January 2014."

According to The Guardian, Minogue was previously asked to be a judge on "The Voice" two years ago. The deal did not work out, however, because Minogue reportedly requested payment of about £2.5m.

Series three of "The Voice" will begin in January 2014 on BBC One.
