Since breaking up with Chris Martin in late October, Jennifer Lawrence has been spotted several times visiting the Coldplay frontman's Malibu home.

The latest spotting of the pair was Tuesday when they decided to go public with a dinner date at Kiwami Sushi in Studio City, California, reports PEOPLE.

"They were engulfed in their little world of conversation," a patron of the restaurant told PEOPLE. "They were into each other and not noticing anyone else around them." The source also said that they seemed "to be just content with each other," and that Martin was listening closely as Lawrence spoke.

Lawrence, 24, and Martin, 37, were seated toward the back of the restaurant enjoying the Japanese fare and conversation.

Martin's ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, 42, was interviewed by Harper's Bazaar U.K. for their February issue. She talked about her divorce from Martin with the magazine.

"We've made a lot of mistakes, and we've had good days and bad days, but I have to say, I'm proud of us for working through so much stuff together -- and not blaming and shaming," Paltrow told Harper's Bazaar.

It is rumored that Paltrow and Martin's close relationship despite the divorce contributed to Lawrence's decision to break up with the English singer-songwriter.

"It is hard for her to understand the feelings between Chris and Gwyneth," a separate source told PEOPLE, referring to the October split.

It's difficult for most people to understand the relationship between Martin and Paltrow. They allegedly had an open marriage for years with both venturing out of the relationship for love affairs. Paltrow's fling with billionaire Jeff Sofer hinted to a possible end for the wayward marriage.

Paltrow reportedly has been on multiple dates with "Glee" co-creator Brad Falchuk recently, however, it seems that thoughts of reconciliation have crossed her mind.

"Of course, there are times when I think it would have been better if we had stayed married, which is always what your children want," she told Harper's Bazaar. "But we have been able to solidify this friendship, so that we're really close."

Lawrence and Martin began their romance in late June when "The Hunger Games" star split from her "X-Men" co-star Nicholas Hoult. The Coldplay lead vocalist announced "conscious uncoupling" from Paltrow in March following 10 years of marriage and two children.
