On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, celebrities took to social media to honor Dr. King. Most chose quotes to commemorate the day, but others shared personal experiences. Here's a look at some of the best messages shared on social media from both Latinos and non-Latinos.

Latinas shared messages about Dr. King.

Chiquis Rivera shared an image of Dr. King with a quote on it. She also added her own message.

"Amen!!!" she said about King's quote in the caption. "Today and everyday do your best to radiate your inner light and spread your God given LOVE. Love is the moving force of the Universe."

MTV star Victoria Justice shared a picture of Dr. King marching. The image also had words written on it, and Justice decided to focus on the importance of King.

"Today we celebrate a man who fought violence w/ peace & hate w/ love," she said in the caption. "Martin Luther King Jr. you're a hero. #TheDreamLivesOn."

Hilaria Baldwin's message was a little more minimal. She shared a quote written on a plain white background. The Spanish celebrity added her own message to agree with Dr. King's stance on non-violence.

"Wise words, wise man ...," she said. "Thank you #MLK for spreading peace and love #grateful."

"Glee" star Naya Rivera shared an image that said "I have a dream" onto Instagram.

"Happy MLK Day," the image's simple caption read.

Meanwhile, Solange Knowles shared a video of her son quoting Dr. King.

"In the words of the great MLK," Knowles said.

Beyonce, Solange's sister, put up her post early in the day. The singer decided to let Dr. King's words do the talking, as she didn't post any caption to accompany the image.

"True peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice," the image with Dr. King's photo reads.
