There is still no word about an iOS 7 jailbreak happening anytime soon, but the Evad3rs posted a tweet last week saying that they are "still working hard on the iOS jailbreak."

The Evad3rs remain the most trusted jailbreak developers around but people are getting more anxious for another jailbreak release. With every iPhone release or operating system release by Apple comes an uphill battle for developers to figure out a way to get past the company's security features in order to crack the jailbreak code.

The Evad3rs are also facing pressure to come through with a jailbreak release that is consistent with the new iPads that are being released by Apple.

It is unclear whether the jailbreak developers have moved their efforts abroad; after the Evad3rs left the country to attend meetings on iOS hacking, another member of the group indicated in a tweet that she was not in the United States but rather in Phuket, which is a city in Thailand. Just days before that, she said in a tweet that she was in Bangkok.

Although the jailbreaking process has taken quite awhile, the developers urged people early on to remain patient throughout. The Evad3rs said weeks ago that they were getting close to solving the jailbreak but did not want to announce any release dates in case something were to go wrong.

There were false reports of a jailbreak earlier this fall but people almost immediately dismissed it in favor of waiting for the Evad3rs to complete their jailbreak.
