Sony's PlayStation 4 and Microsoft's Xbox One have both been released just in time for the holidays, but will there be enough to go around?

The PS4 was released Nov. 15, while the Xbox One was launched on Nov. 22. Both video game consoles sold over 1 million units during its first 24 hours on shelves, including pre-orders. Despite these high sales, Chris Koller, Best Buy's vice president of entertainment, says that Best Buy will keep shoppers happy this holiday season.

"We have allocations for people that weren't able to pre-order; I can't tell you the exact number, but fortunately we've got enough for a great event - like tonight - and more importantly, through the holiday season," Koller told Polygon on Nov. 21. "We're going to have product available throughout the month of December."

Best Buy is upping the ante with their Gamers Club Unlocked membership to help shoppers create a gamer's holiday. The $800 package includes either a PS4 or Xbox One, controllers, two launch titles, a PS Plus or Xbox Live membership, a two-year protection plan with Geek Squad and 20 percent off any video game from Best Buy for two years.

"Black Friday is going to be crazy for gaming," Koller said. "It always is."

Meanwhile, GameStop has already sold out of its launch stocks of the PS4 and Xbox One.

"We expect that the launches of Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony PS4 will continue to fuel consumer excitement and spending for games heading into the holiday season," NPD, a consumer market researcher, said in a statement.
