Something no one ever thought would happen has happened.

Although “Downton Abbey” may be leaving us after its upcoming sixth season, its cast has begun doing small side projects. One of them, Rob James-Collier, has fused together “Downton Abbey” with “Star Wars” to create a hilarious charity spoof.

Titled “Downton Wars,” the video involves some of the cast members in a funny juxtaposition of the two for charity. James-Collier, who plays the evil underbutler Thomas Barrow, made the video to raise money for multiple sclerosis (MS) research and awareness, as he explained in the video above.

James-Collier will be running in the Virgin London Marathon of 2015, according to his website, to raise money for the Chilterns MS Center. The first video release, “Downton Wars: Part One - The Phantom Valet” was a “freebie” and the second will be released once James-Collier raises £10,000 or around $14,800.

He filmed the videos on his iPhone.

The video features John Bates (Brendan Coyle), Anna Bates (Joanne Froggatt) and Carson (Jim Carter) as well as James-Collier. Bates appears wearing a black cape as he walks around the set of the ITV costume drama.

The video ends with an almost fight between Bates and Barrow and, of course, Barrow was wielding a red light saber. In a very fun exchange Barrows asks why Bates wears a cape.

"Cool,” Bates answers, to which Barrow replies: "Debatable."

According to James-Collier’s fundraising website, the Chilterns MS Center provides help to people suffering from MS and their families because the National Health Service (NHS) does not cover life-long treatment and costs.

“We try to help people living with the disease by offering a number of life changing and supportive therapies and treatments that are effective for the patient, such as specialist neuro-physiotherapy, oxygen treatment and reflexology,” explained the Chilterns Center’s website.

“The treatments, therapies and support we provide have a genuine impact on the individual changing the quality of their daily life.”
