The first wave of Teen Choice Awards 2015 nominees has finally been unveiled! The show, which will air on August 16, has an interesting mix of contenders.

Fans might have a difficult time deciding which particular nominee to vote for.

For instance, One Direction fans will be divided for the Fashion Choice Male Hottie award category. Zayn Malik, who has already left 1D, will go against the remaining boys of the band. Aside from 1D and Malik, other celebrities who are vying for this particular award are Ryan Guzman, Justin Bieber, the boys of 5 Seconds of Summer, and Austin Mahone.

The nominees were selected by teens, themselves, and clearly, they have picked well. However, it is apparent that they will be struggling to decide whether to vote for Malik or for One Direction. Even Selena Gomez is going against her best friend Taylor Swift for Choice Female Artist.

For the Choice TV Actor: Drama, “Pretty Little Liars” co-stars Keegan Allen and Ian Harding will compete with each other. Meanwhile, Lucy Hale will be up against her “PLL” co-star and real-life friend, Shay Mitchell to get the highly coveted Choice TV Actress: Drama award. Their show, meanwhile, will be pitted against other successful series, such as “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Empire” for Choice TV Show: Drama.

“Arrow,” with season 4 hitting the small screen on The CW sometime this year, has been nominated for Choice TV Show: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, with its actors, Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen, and Emily Bett Rickards, who plays Felicity Smoak, up for Choice TV Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Choice TV Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, respectively.

Another hit TV show from The CW, "The 100,"  has the same corresponding nominations. Its stars, Bob Morley, who plays Bellamy Blake, is up against Amell, while Eliza Taylor, who plays Clarke Griffin, is pitted against Richards, among others.

“Pitch Perfect 2” was able to get four nominations, while “Furious 7” got five. Apart from these two, “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is also another movie that is leading in the movie category.

Voting for this year’s Teen Choice nominees will start on June 10. That said, it looks like fans will have to make up their minds fast. The complete list of the first wave of nominees can be found here.
