Latest Samsung Galaxy S5 report states that the Korean company's next flagship phone will go head to head with Apple's 5s as it decides to potentially come up with a fingerprint sensor.

It was trusted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who first made a prediction that a certain touch ID sensor will also be seen on the upcoming S5. The Chinese analyst thinks that Samsung is pressured to keep up with the level of competition that the iPhone 5s and the HTC One Max have set. He confidently emphasized though that the Korean tech giant will not match the speedy 64-bit processors of Apple and instead thinks that Samsung will instead use the 32-bit hardware from either Exynos or Qualcomm, CNET wrote.

Itechpost added that the S5 will also come up with two versions of the flagship phone which will be called "Standard" and "Prime." However, in contradiction to the earlier rumors that one of the two models will be made in metal, recent reports say both versions will be made in plastic cases. An AppleInsider report also mentioned that the Prime version will have the 32-bit octa-core Exynos 5430 processor while the Standard will have the 32-bit quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon instead.

Along with the Samsung Galaxy S5 release, the second generation of the Samsung Galaxy Gear is also expected to come out. MSN UK reports that it is speculated to have improved features and will take some style tips from the Galaxy Round model. Latest speculations is that the smartwatch will carry a curved design to make it more comfortable to wear around the wrist.

Numerous consumers are perceiving the Galaxy Gear 2 as an accessory to the Samsung Galaxy S5 flagship phone, Gottabemobile stated. However, many would surely be glad if it will work compatibly with other Samsung smartphones too.
