The "American Horror Story" troupe of actors have been coming back to the anthology series in swarms. There is now news that Lily Rabe, who has appeared in all fours season of the show, will also be returning to the "Hotel" installment for the series, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Rabe is currently starring in the ABC thriller series "The Whispers." She has been a regular cast member in "American Horror Story" in the first three seasons and made a cameo appearance in the "Freak Show" installment when returning character Pepper from "Asylum" had a flashback sequence where Rabe played an evil nun at the institution.

Rabe's new character for Season 5 will be a serial killer. But she is not just any serial killer: She's famous. There is no word yet if she will be portraying a real-life person or a fictional character.

Her character will be someone who had stayed at the hotel in the past. This is a clear indicator she will be appearing in the show as a ghost, likely an evil ghost.

"AHS" is well known for interweaving real-life characters into their story lines. In Season 1, the woman who was dubbed "The Black Dahlia" by the press in the early 20th century because of her grotesque Hollywood murder, made an appearance in the series, and it was fictionalized to portray the people in the house as those who cut her up and disposed of the pieces.

In Season 3, the "Coven" installment featured descendants of Salem witches who relocated to the New Orleans coven.

Rabe will be joining Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Finn Wittrock, Chloe Sevigny, Wes Bentley and Cheyenne Jackson in Season 5.
